What a bunch of jokers :-p

I run a front plate currently. On my old prelude, I didn't have a front plate and one day when I came out of work there was a ticket on my window for no front plate :-( An officer drove through the parking ramp where I worked looking for violations. They must have caught fewer speeders that month and had to make up the money elsewhere. }:)

nope, tickets are easy to get dismissed. Midway I frequuently get pulled for it though.

I have always had a front plate. Not worth the hassles IMO. Yeah, I'm a sissy.

show up to the court house and the hearing officer will usually take it off right away. Just tell him you'll put it on and make up a story. Just bought the car, or had an accident in the front, or it didnt come with the brackets.

I wish we could do what the Brits have and get a decal with our plate number on it for the front that you can wrap around the lower part of the front lip. Unfortunately we can't it seems. There is a reason for the front plates though, when I got rear-ended in my DSM several years ago the person who hit me left a tattoo of their plate in my bumper. The paint on the numbers came right off and stuck to my bumper like it was applied to it as a sticker. He still pulled over so I didn't have to go hunting him down with that information but I still thought it was pretty interesting. Those plates also have a habit of falling off after an impact and so you can be traced that way as well.

I guess I don't see what the big deal is. I have done Russ' mod to my plate but since I don't have a FMIC I don't really worry about the tiny little performance loss that may come from it dangling in front of my radiator. It comes off at the track and that's the only place performance really counts anyway.

I don't care about the performance implications, front plates just look crappy.

Say, what ever happened to your gauge installation plan? There are tumbleweeds rolling through that thread...

Still trying to figure out just exactly what I want to do with the oil sender. You think taking a gallery plug off the top of the block and just tapping a hole right in it would be the best bet? That way no need for adapters, and the plugs themselves aren't too expensive. I owe Brett a couple bucks anyway, I think I'll stop by there and get one tomorrow.

Yesterday driving to work I got gravel in the brakes. Gravel + brakes = worst sound evar!
