OUCH.
I thought taking out the left front rim and wheel bearing was bad enough on my car.
Wow.

Still in search for a good import shop to do some major work. My roommate has his mitsu torn apart in our garage now. 2 stall garage but I'm not about to do 2 cars at once in the winter out there. Any suggestions? I'm looking to get as much replaced as possible (insurance covering everything)

just under 50, sideways, i'm lucky there was so much snow on the ground! after I got out and looked at it for a minute, i could have rolled pretty bad. So all in all I look at is as not such a bad situation.

exactly, luckily enough there was no body damage at all, this will end up costing me $500 for the deductable. I'll post the total damage done once I bring it in after christmas is over.

WOAH! I've never seen a hub or a CV joint come apart like that! Must have done some damage to the subframe where the lateral link is connected.
On the other hand... that would be so much fun to fix! I love tinkering with tools! I'm also crazy.
EDIT: Be sure to replace that rubber brake hose. A stretched hose is a sponge for air molecules!

Flat bed, i don't know what i'm going to do with it honestly. i can't decide. Have a shop or myself do the work.

+1, from what i hear, matt does a really good job.
anyways, dang, that beats me by far. And i thought i was gonna be the one with the most damage done to my car this year. Bent a strut, bent a wheel, bent a control arm, bent the lateral arms.

Dude should have called my shop... I am positive we could have kept it way lower than that.. but of course I am sure it is worse than it looks in the pics if that is possible...

I have a question, one of the tires is completely shot, my insurance company wants to replace only that one tire, the other 3 tires are over half way worn. if having one brand new tire, and 3 older ones, will that cause any problems being awd? either way i'm replacing the others, but having them do this, could it ruin my drivetrain?

YES...Let your insurance know that you have an AWD Vehicle and will ruin the drivetrain. Anything over 10% tread wear difference has to be replaced (all 4 tires). So if yours is already half way, that's way bad...Replace all 4 tires *MANDATORY* not an option.

If you need a Subaru Service Tech to confirm to your Insurance about all 4 tires replaced. Give me a Call @ White Bear Subaru and ask for Ray and I will gladly give them my MANDATORY Advise. (651)481-7000 Ext. 232
