This is extremely sad. I do agree that Bushes war directly caused this. The thing is that it was happening there before, but we just did not know about it. What is think is most terrible that it is there own people that do this. And whats even sadder that they base their suicide attacks and such on their religious views.

yeah i have read alot of history books... thats why i would like you to explain your reasoning for this post. not entirely seeing direct correlations between anything you have posted and what is going on today.

pretty much true. We've been at war for almost 90 years straight with only a few years' rest:

    WWI
    WWII
Cold war all the way to '91
    'Nam
    Korean
    Desert Storm
    Kosovo
    Present

and i'm sure I'm missing some small, obscure ones in there.

Nope. D@mned if you do. D@mned if you dont. Sudan has been much worse for the past several years. Somalia. Lets not forget Rwanda and Republic of Congo aka TCFKAZ (the country formerly known as zaire). I dont understand why it is our responsibility to help out. Isnt that what the UN is for?

no, I was referring strictly to the USA, but haven't had a history class since High school so I'm sure I may have forgotten a small conflict somewhere that we've been involved in.

good try though making me sound like a self centered ass.

Wars are part of human nature. Sad but true. They have been happening since the begining of human life.
