I just got into another less than 5 mph fender bender with '05 Legacy GT and I have determined that it time to do something about my beat up bumper cover. Anybody have any recommendations and/or advice? Not sure which of the following I should do:

    (1) Have body shop fix and respray bumper cover.
    (2) Order new bumper cover (eBay,) and have a body shop spray it.
    (3) (go 'lil crazy) Order a JDM bumper assembly, and have body shop spray it.
    (4) Simply rock the beat up bumper cover cause screw it, you know its going to happen again....
    (5) Get all the little chips/dings fixed on my car along with a new bumper cover, and spray the whole damn thing....

    > no poll?
Ha - specifically, so I could have "write in" votes.... Figured the thread would be more entertaining that way.

In the same boat as you. I have a MY13 WRX and I somehow managed to crack mine over the winter, plowing snow is my guess.
Anyway, its cracked in the middle bottom and so far I haven't been able to bring myself to get it repaired. With the cost of the bumper and respray costing ~$6-800 (guess) that would eat into my modding budget quite a bit.
I'm currently trying not to look at it and just telling myself all is well.

Honestly, the smartest and most economical thing to do is to...

    start a poll.

Two times in two years - same situation. I'm one car back from a stoplight. Jackass in front of me begins to turn right and then slams on his brakes to avoid smearing a pedestrian that he neglected to notice would be crossing the street when the light turns green, and I end up tapping him. Awesome stuff.

Anyone interested in getting their bumpers repaired for a cheaper price can stop by my work place, Morries Hyundai in St. Louis Park for an estimate. I am usually there Monday through friday from 9am-5p.

Well, I'll be working every day through mid September but if I could drop it off in the morning and be able to get back before 9 pm at night then I'll be stoping by around the first week of June.

    Thanks

Yeah, I can definitely get it done on the same day if you dropped it off in the morning. I usually get bumpers and small jobs out the door on the same day unless it is super beat up and requires more work.
