I've got a 2004 WRX all stock, except exhaust and I was looking for some recommendations on what kind of intake to get. I'm just looking to get my car to breathe easier. Also, I was thinking about taking out the intake silencer for a little more turbo noise. Any and all feedback is much appreciated.

    Thanks

Intake doesn't do much for your cat besides noise. There are better options for performance and the money. What sort of a price range are you looking to spend?

He doesn't have UP, DP, EBCS yet. He requires that stuff first.

Spend a few hundred dollars on a decent uppipe and a decent downpipe. Just remember, they are all just pipes. As long as the welds are good, and fitment is alright, you're fine. They all move exhaust the same way through them really. Then install them and give someone like Ron down at RS Motors, or Nuke at NF Performance a call. They can get you tuned for your new parts so you can not only make that extra power, but do so without blowing up your engine.

I mentioned EBCS and I guess I took "exhaust" as meaning turbo back. Silly me.
