ok so.... I just got back from Morries in Minnetonka to have my brakes inspected. They said "rear brake pads worn thin, front brake pads have useable pad life" They also said that both my front and rear brake rotors had rusting that was causing uneven wear on my front brake pads. They recommended I replace both my front and rear pads and rotors, and estimated the price to be $435.64 for the front, and $413.24 for the rear.
What would you recommend I do in this situation as far as service and parts go? (please hold back any smart ass comments :D)

Info on my car: 2008 Legacy GT, with just over 37,000 miles. It is my daily driver and I do not plan on going to the track with this car. It currently has all stock brake components.
If you need more info let me know!

Thank you very much for any help, I appreciate it.

    Buy non-oem stuff
Have someone else do the work.

Local auto parts store rotors. Napa or oreilly, if you're not eking out ever ounce of performance, rotors are rotors, aslong as the vanes are there.
carbotech pads, hawk if you don't mind some more dust.
do it yourself, it's a really easy service that even the smallest of ratchet sets will have everything you need.

DIY, you can do the whole car for just over what it would cost you to do the fronts.

Yeah I would agree - Rotors are not a big deal because you DD and don't track your car. You could get better pads.

For a little bit more you could even do SS lines.
