    Hi all Im pretty new to MNSubaru and would love to get some ideas and possible parts to lift my Impreza.

    Check out primitive automation. Not sure how high you want to go without messing with drivetrain. Combination of struts And Springs. Maybe roll the fenders so you can get different tire Heights. very few options.

    Forester struts ya weiner. That'll get you solid clearance like Greg's red blob eye wagon.

    No problem. I have been looking at getting a lift kit from them as well for my crosstrek.

    The newer multilink rear suspension is a little more difficult to lift. Forester struts will fit, but the rear is not going to like it. I've helped put an ADF lift in a '13 Forester, and I think that's the clear way to go. Maintaining stock spring rates, travel and geometry (which is more important/difficult than the modified Macpherson cars, or even the '00-'09 Legacy multilink).

    what possible wear would come from putting in forester struts?

    I would be concerned about most of the control arm bushings in the rear and especially the ball joint in the upper control arm.


    Fronts would be fine.
