in diameter? yes, they're 17x8.5 but they're light as hell and if i dont sell em i'll probably use them for autox.
I have new wheels like i said but i'm waiting for my tires to come and i wanted to see what it would be like with 17's..

spacers? lol, the ssr's stick out farther than the BBS' wheels do, my new wheels on the other hand which are 18x9 stick out too far..

They look like they tick in too much. What is the offset on them?

yea the tiny wheels need to go. granted they may be light but they make the car look pudgy imho. the 18s make the sti look wayyy more agressive

On a white car, gold wheels are FTW!

Drop is too low as well. I like the 'before' pic much better.

Love the car! Drop looks good. Can't wait to see the new 18's on it.

What color are they(the new rims)? And when are you doing the tail light mod:hsugh:?

Yeah, maybe. It will raise the car a little off the ground, but it will also bury the tire further into the wheel well FTL.

    I like the gold BBSs!

Otherwise, I am thoroughly jealous of his very nice white STI. The Rallyarmors look great on it!

*edit* I'm with Josh on the taillights. Maybe some red tint on those? Or just lose the red reflector on the side and use a red LED for a completely-clear look.

the "before" pic is stock suspension, I think lowered sti's like 1000x better

My new wheels are black, i have the gold bbs wheels so i figured i'd go black.

As for the tailight mod, i ordered a taillight film kit from harman motive, but it fit like ****, precut kits suck, so i have an appt to have them professionally done, along with tint.

Post up the pics of the tint and tails once they're done! I think it looks great.

I dont know what everyone else is talking about man...

Your car looks GREAT. I like the low drop, which in most of the pictures looks lower because its in grass.

The 17's only look small because their backdropped against a white car, but again, I like them, its a good look. I'm such a huge fan of black wheels on white cars that I probably just am biased and our preferences are pretty similar.

I Like the look. Cant wait to see how you plan on "improving" it with the SSRs!!?

also, pretty sure I know what kind of car I'm going to be getting when I finally move back to MN.

Its going to be a subaru, white in color, and most likely be a hatch.

I liked the before pic... just add the RA flaps from the after, and it'd all make sense.

The stock gold wheels look much better IMO. I'm also probably one of the only people who like's the stock taillights as well.

I actually think a stock '08 STi, is perfect the way it is.

    Expectally a white/gold combination:yumyum:
