I know I am posting a lot of threads but man i relaly need some help... Ok so my car is a my00rs and I just finished doing an 07 wrx swap into it. I did not use the secondary air injection pump so a few of my codes are due to that. I think I can run without it and have the codes on, relative to the secondary air pump. The others are the ones I am worried about. I think a few of them have to do with my TGV deletes. I just plugged the rods back in and but the sensors on them. However i may have installed the sensors wrong. They may be why i am not making any boost. Mods on the car only includes a TBE and TGV deletes. I can get the codes deleted via opensource but i need to know which ones i can delete and be ok with and which ones i have to fix. From my research it seems like I can delete all codes relative to the secondary air injection system, tgv deletes, and rear o2. I am not running a rear o2 sensor. Here is the list of codes: P0132 P0416 P0413 P2431 P2433 P2022 P2017 P2016 P0037 P0132 If everything is OK, then i can delete all of these codes. can you guys check with me which codes i have to fix and cannot delete. Any help would be great. Thanks
From what I've read the '07 and newer WRX's use the 2nd O2 sensor as part of the fuel mapping. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need that.
I believe the downstream sensor does control air fuel. It fine tunes the ratio to keep the cat at peak efficiency. I don't think you would notice it missing.
So i dont need the rear o2? or i do? I am unplugging the tgv sensors and just deleting the codes tomorrow.... P0132 O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (bank 1 Sensor 1) Does this mean my front o2 is bad?
32bit will need the rear o2 (07wrx is 32bit) P0132, i believe that's your rear o2 Don't unplug your tgvs, fix it properly.
You'll want your rear O2 sensor for CL fuel learning. The rest of your codes are for the air pump and TVG's except the PO132. That one is for the front O2 sensor reading excessively high.
what can be the cause of the front o2 reading excessively high or is the sensor just bad? Could the wires being a little twisted up cause this or the o2 sensor being loose?
Check to make sure that you have power going to the o2 sensors. That is one thing I missed when I first did my swap. It would cause both the O2 sensor codes you are getting.
welll i checked the connection for the front o2 today and turns out that one wire is pretty muched pulled off right at the sensor, so no chance in reconnecting it. Ill have to replace it. as for the rear, ill need a new one. from my research it shows that the rear is the same for all wrx's. can someone confirm this before i buy one? how do i check for power, volt meter?
