1997 outback sport

i recently purchased a new daily driver so it time to sell this one.
1997 impreza outback sport
137k miles on the body
around 20k miles on motor
5-speed
streight pipe exhaust after the cat
short sifter
light weight crank pully
RS wheels with good tires around 75% tread
keenwood deck and infinty speakers

the interior is very clean i'd say about an 8 out of 10, there may be a couple small spots on the carpet. it has factory floor mats along with additional all season plastic mats. including the hatch. no modifications to the interior. also wired for system. can take out if buyer would like.

heres the story with the engine. the previous owner was a tech at muscatel subaru in fargo. what he told me is, the dealer had imported an ej22 from japan for a customers right hand drive mail car. why the customer would even go to that trouble is beyond me. but the customer ended up bailing on the engine. so the previous owner bought it for a low price from the dealer and put it in the impreza. he said that the car didnt even need a new motor, but that he had the down time to do it on the job and it would only further benifit the car.

the body of the car is by no means perfect. it is 13 years old and shows your typical minnesota wear and tear. some rust on the rear quarters, though its still surfice rust. hasnt eaten threw yet. and its not horible, just something i would address. and it has its fair share of rock chips, dings and scratches from highway driving. nothing horible just trying to be honest. and the worst part, in the front of the car one of the previous owner ran into what i believe to be a hitch on a truck. there is a small spot where the hood is roled in a little. and the grile has a small corner missing. again not horible, only cosmetic damage.

the car needs and o2 sensor, still runs and drives great, just runs a tiny bit rich. and throughs a CEL. also i believe it needs a right real wheel bearing.
