Sounds a lot like Kelly (Snwbrd4evr)'s car, except he runs Hydra...

I guess I should chime in and say that I have link ECU. I also have the number of Neal from link USA who might be the only person who could find one for you, although I don't think he would have anything like that sitting around. You can PM me and I can get you in contact with neil.

I have a few 2 liter base maps, but I don't think that's going to help much.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I think I'll be modifying one of the 2 liter maps to at least get it started. Then I can go from there.

sounds alot like kellys. you might wanna drop him a line, he should have some experience with the storker setup by now, maybe not so much on a link though.

is this your car? if so what happened to the wrx?

^ sweet. I'd have to do some scaling anyways since I'm running 650's.

few more questions for you guys. The car is still running a 2.5rs intake manifold and throttle body so is there a MAP sensor or did it just have a MAF? I know my 02 wrx had both, but i didnt see a map on the 2.5rs throttle body. The reason im asking this is because on my car i needed to buy the 2.5 bar map for my aem unit and i was wondering if we are going to need to do this as well on this car for high boost or for just a another tuning tool . Another question is on the 2.5rs MAF, does it have a air intake temp sensor built into it? I am thinking this is another tuning tool we will need for this car. If there is anymore sensors you think the car may not have and is needed for tuning please let me know. thank you much!!!

As far as I know, subaru integrates the inlet air temp sensor in the MAF. When I bought my Link Plus, I needed a IAT sensor. They use a Bosche unit for about $35. The Link should be able to work with all the other sensors. I can run mine in speed density or MAF, but I don't know about other setups. Mine came with their 2.5 bar MAP sensor, and I'll prob need to get the 7 bar eventaully.

Some RS's used speed density, so their may be no MAF sensor.

I think the 99 was MAF, they changed to speed density in 00 or 01.

I know the car had a MAF from the factory, so the question would be can i just use the wires running from the factory harness that ran the old MAF and air intake temp sensor to run the new boche unit that you were talking about? And if i can do you know which wires the are on the pigtale (color)? And since im not useing the MAF i think i need to figure out if there is a MAP on this setup. I will need it for tunning right? Sorry for all the questions. You guys are being a great help!

Which Link is it? Mine came with the separate MAP. I ordered the IAT sensor with it. You could prob use the one wire from the MAF that is for the IAT. I'd just assume run new wires for the IAT. I don't know which wires to use, you'd have to find an ECU pinout to figure that out. I have one for my car, but I don't think a '93 Legacy is gonna correlate to a '99 RS. The Link cannot use any other MAP besides the ones designed for their system. I wanted to use the 3.5 bar sensor that came with my Zeitronix setup, but there is no calibrationutility for the MAP sensor. My system gives two options: their 2.5 or 7 bar MAP sensor. I don't know what system you guys are trying to use, so Ican only generalize.

Its the link plus, and now that im thinking about it, i think it has a internal map because why would you need to run a seperate vacume line to it? Im going to talk to a guy from link usa tomorrow so i should know more then.
