2.5 RS owners.....

    I was shocked last night on my way home from work when I got along side a silver 2.5 rs. I thought I was going to smoke it, (I have a WRX) and lone behold, I beat him only 2 of the 3 lights we raced on 42 in Burnsville. He had some stuff done to it, but ****, I didn't think they were that quick. He punked me hard at 13 and 42... New respect for RS owners....

    What year 2.5RS?? GC8?? :D

    Anyway never assume anything till you raced it, because you never
    know what under the hood..even a Ford Pinto

    Becareful out on the street......

    Haha! You raced Pete. He told me someone might be posting about that race on here. I didn't think it was going to happen so soon! He's from that area. Pete has been PM'ing me for a day now and he just joined on here as 25RSMN. He's been a Subaru owner for 2 years now. He's not stock, but he's also not turbocharged either.

    Why not everyone welcome him? ;)

    I'm not exactly cocky about my WRX at all, if I was I wouldn't post this story. I use to have a civic before this and had everyone in town trying to race me. I almost always got stomped too... I have great humility towards racing. As far as keeping this off the streets, it was stoplight to stoplight on a deserted street and we both backed off as soon as the leader was established. You mean to tell me that you wouldn't have played a little too?

    Fong, I never realized there was a post about me. I just figured Matt had talked to you and that's how you knew. Altho I know nothing about this racing business Matt is referring to ;) I'll see if I can locate some pics of my ride although it is a completely stock silver 01 RS sedan. Only body mod is silver painted sidebars. I'm trying to keep it as slow looking as possible :)
