I think I've had it. potential for a couple cool cars here. But a lot of work is needed to be reliable. And I just need a decent DD at this point. I doubt anyone is interested in a project like this, but I'll try. '88: 120k miles. 5MT. Very rusty. Was sitting for ~4 years before I got it, so it has it's issues. has a cooling issue, could just be a leaking cap, but somehow it gets air in the system and then the tstat doesn't open. Also, transmission is shot. includes a shortened driveshaft to use a transmission with an AWD center diff, or the stock shaft to use a FT4WD setup. current suspension/front brake setup not included, stock parts would be included, but the air struts leak, badly. also does not include wheels/tires. 5x100, at least 14". stock radio and equalizer works fine. Includes a complete Kaminari body kit, front lip is a reproduction, and has not been installed. everything else is on the car. '89: ~112k miles. 4EAT. solid frame. been in 3 accidents that I know of. both rear quarters have been repaired. and now the front end is crunched. This car was very reliable until it was smashed. it appears all the damage was in front of the suspension mounts. a little straightening, and some body parts, it this one would be an excellent car. runs and drives, although I haven't had it over about 10mph since the accident. every time I've wanted to move it, I've been able to throw a battery in it and start it right up. before: includes stock wheels with some very nice BFG all-seasons on them. if I had the space and something else to drive, I would probably part out the '88, fix the frame damage on the '89, and mix and match parts to make one good car. But I just don't need another project. will include all my XT6 spares. trim pieces, interior switches and such, a rear bumper, and whatever else I can find. $1000 for both. would both need to be trailered.
Bump. yea, I suppose I'll end up selling the kit separate. But it won't fit your car, as the '85-'87 bumpers are different.
I'd like to keep the whole kit together. but if somebody just wants the skirts and such, I might separate. but I probably won't get to part out stage for a month or so.
Bump. Not sure what to do with these, as much as I love 'em, I need to move on. if I had some acreage, I'd probably hold on to them until I could make one working car out of them, but I need the space. Prepared to take a huge hit on them if someone is interested in breathing some life into them. open to ANY offers. cash preferred. but would be willing to trade for a stand-up jetski, or 33" mud-terrains....possibly other things.
