Well, it appears the time has come to split with my mistress… Many of you have crossed paths with it over the years: BRP 2000 Impreza 2.5RS. I have listed all of the modifications that have stuck over the past ~16 years. You will quickly note the nature of the car; mostly stock power but little else.

    • Powertrain
      • Cold Air Intake (GanzFlow)
      • OBX Headers
      • Stromung Cat-Back
      • ACT/Exedy Clutch-Flywheel Stg 2
      • Grp N Engine/Tranny mounts
    • Suspension
      • Feal 441 Coilovers – custom valved
      • Swift springs
        • 10k Front
        • 9k Rear
      • Powerflex bushings
      • Whiteline ALK
      • Whiteline Sway Bars Fr & Rear
      • Fr & Rear strut bars
    • Wheels/Tires
      • Enkei RP03 -Silver
        • 17x8 et48
        • Dunlop Z1 SS 225/45-17 (~4/32”)
      • Team Dynamics ProRace -Gunmetal Grey
        • 17x9 et35
        • Hubcentric
        • Nitto NT-01 255/40-17
        • Tires have 2 track days – great shape
    • Brakes
      • Non-ABS Master Cylinder
      • Single Stage Booster
      • SS brake lines
      • Subaru 4-pots
        • Powerslot WRX rotors
        • CL RC6 Pads
      • Stock rear calipers
        • Powerslot Frozen Rotors
        • Carbotech HPS pads
    • Interior
      • Corbeau FX1 seats
      • Driver & Passenger
      • Rally Innovations harness bar
      • Schroth 6pt harness
        • Driver & Passenger
        • Expire after this year (both)
      • Momo wheel w/ quick release
    • Exterior
      • Lightweight front bumper beam
      • Cut/welded fenders to accommodate wheel/tire clearance
      • Clear corners
    • Misc
      • Relocated AGM battery in trunk
      • Whiteline steering rack bushings
      • Subframe lock kit
      • Defi gauges/controller
        • FP sensor (non-functional)
        • EGT (functional)
        • Boost Gauge (obviously non-functional)
      • A/C compressor removed
      • Stock passenger seat goes with the car
      • New L & R front hub bearings, this year (1 in progress)
      • Stock steering wheel and several OEM parts included
The car still runs like a top and was methodically maintained. There are minor paint blemishes, but otherwise great paint for a car nearly 16 years old. Aside from the carpet in the driver’s footwell, the interior is in very good shape. It was used as a daily driver from purchase (Sept ’99) until I purchased my STi (May ’03). Since then, it has been strictly a source of enjoyment. Due to its short life as a DD, the mileage is only 81.2k miles.

Please take a close look at the mods to see if this is the car for you. I would like to ‘keep it in the family’ and I am not in a rush to sell so I am only listing it on the local boards for the time being. Let me know if there are any questions as there is more than what words or pictures can share.

I am asking $4800 with all the extras, but I am willing to negotiate some of those if someone is looking for a lower entry fee (we can discuss details if interested). Feel free to contact me via PM.

    Thanks for reading!

    Nope, never needed...

    No leaks (anywhere).

....and another opportunity for more pictures. :p These give a picture of the amount of fender removed. Rear was re-welded and all exposed metal was painted with bed liner (note that the pass. side rear has some distortion, can be seen in previous pics) The car is begging for flares, but I wasn't able to find the right person to do it.

I'm kind of in the same boat, I was driving by and turned around to talk to him about the car a couple months ago. Took a look at it, definitely a track car in good shape with everything but and Sti/turbo build. I was really hoping you were going to stick to what you said and we're going to sell it next summer, paying for a wedding in April and it's my slow season right now. Bahhh glws unless I can sell my Wrx wagon really fast

Yes, plans did change... Selling the RS5 sooner than planned, replacing with something I cannot drive in the winter (Exige S240 or Cayman GTS); and need to make room for a winter car. PM the details on your wagon. I will be in the market for a WRX wagon when this is sold.

Car has been sold. Thanks to everyone for the interest. Sorry I didn't have a few more to sell, there was plenty of interest!
