Time has come to sell my car. I'm not going to lie to you when I tell you I haven't had the greatest luck with this car but my loss is your gain. A week after I bought the car it threw a rod bearing and so a new lower end (short block) was needed. I bought a brand new STi 2.5 liter short block from Subaru have receipts and replaced it. This car now has a stronger 2.5 liter instead of the stock 2.0 liter. When the motor was replaced all valves were adjusted and all gaskets were replaced. I also upgraded the fuel injectors to STi ones (Brand new)And a walbro 255 pump. Along with this I did modify the car slighty and I added a full 3 inch exhaust and catless uppipe. An Grimmspeed electronic boost control solenoid and Perrin light weight crank pulley. This car was professionally tuned down in the cites by Ron at rs motors. The car put down 300 ft lbs of torque and 230 hp to the wheels (HAVE DYNO SHEET) it is a very fun car to drive and runs perfect! With all this power the second broke. I have since rebuilt the transmission and replaced 2nd 3rd and 4th gear(updated gears from the factory) along with new syncros and gaskets (once again have receipts). This car needs nothing and is excellent shape. Interior is perfect and the exterior is also in great shape. The exterior of the car is glossy and nice, I sanded down the whole car with 3000 grit and buffed out nearly every imperfection that I could. The motor only has 7k and the trans has less then 1000 miles. The body has 123xxx. The tires are like brand new along with the brakes. It comes with winter tires (not the greatest but at least 1-2 more winters out of them is left). Serious inquires only!! I will not respond to emails due to spammers. I can vouch that this is one of the cleanest wrx's I've seen. Al's a body man, and he's not kidding when he said he detailed the whole car when he first got it! Every tiny little scratch or swirl that was once there is now gone. The car pulls great and has a really sweet power band. You can't go wrong with a brand new motor and tranny especially when everything was professionally installed! Good luck sellin this Al, I still vote you keep it since everything is built up now
