Hi MNSubaru. I am selling my wife and I's 04 STi.

    Link to CL ad: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/5187419822.html

This thing has been ours since I bought it in 2012 from a dealer. It has JUST under 150k miles, and still runs amazing. It is well maintained by us. We changed the oil every 3k miles, never more and used T6. We used to use the Subaru blue filters only, but have been using Purolators lately, as I hear they're decent as well. I have never had a single engine problem or hiccup with it.

The only thing that happened was a smoking turbo needed to be replaced and wearable items like the rear brakes, new tires, and p/s belt. It prob needs a new timing belt sometime in the near future and new front rotors/pads. The rotors are two piece, so all you need to do is get new blanks from Stoptech or get OEM.

    It has on it:
-Cobb Accessport with really nice tune done by NF Performance. I'm not sure on WHP and torque, prob around 300/350.
-Mint 50k mile VF39 recently replaced with all new exhaust gaskets from Grimmspeed.
-Front Mount Intercooler in black for heat radiance
    -Invidia turboback bellmouth catless downpipe
-Low miles on Nitto Neo Gen tires
-Grimmspeed Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (3 Port)
    -Fog Lights from a WRX
    -Debadged and De-winged
    -Rally Armor mudflaps (AWESOME)
    -StopTech Two-piece front rotors
    -Pioneer double-din touchscreen radio
-Spectre intake/unknown pipe that MAF bolts onto
    -Synapse BOV recirculated
-Auto dimming rearview mirror (I love this thing, hard to sell)
-I welded up a bracket myself to relocate the front plate. It is very sturdy and will have no issues.

The only problems with the car are:
-The emissions from I believe the charcoal canister keeps going off. This does not affect performance whatsoever, it's just annoying to see the light. I have tried looking at the hoses under the rear of the car and tried a new gas cap and never found anything wrong.

-The ebrake is weak. It just needs new shoes.

In the pics it is all cleaned and waxed from a few weeks ago. I will do this again and wax the headlights so they stay nice and clear.

The car is a blast to drive and sounds amazing, I maintain it well and my wife and I drive it very respectably. Rowing through the 6 speed is awesome, and it makes awesome power before boost. We only get on it from time to time because I hate a car that just sits and dailys.. I mean you have to clear it's throat from time to time! We are selling since we just bought another newer car and want someone else to enjoy this car as we have. I will keep if I don't find the right price. Also I have an older Impreza that I swapped, and my time will have to go to maintaining that car in the near future.

Feel free to text, email, and call. I am ready for questions and am recovering from surgery so am available a LOT.

$11,999 OBO - Will accept reasonable offers. I REALLY do not want to go below 11k.

I can't attach pictures due to a size restriction. You can see them via the Craigslist link. I might try to host them as well, but am at work right now haha.

I'm very interested, but... I'm debating between this or an SUV.

I'm interested, but I'm debating between this w/ a diet consisting of ramen noodles for the next few years or a diet consisting of steak.

I pulled the timing cover and it will need a new timing belt. If I were to keep it which is a possibility, (since the VA might be helping me out with my medical bills) I would replace it first thing.

Did it get done early(pre-100k), or has it just not been done?

I'm really not sure. I bought it from a dealer after 100k. I can try to reach the previous owner. I doubt it's the original, but there is no way to be sure without finding him.

Well I would hope that the dealership would have taken care of it if it hadn't already been done when they took it in from the PO.

I've always wanted an 04. I'd have to sell 3 of my current Subarus to get into this one tho! Lol

They never did the timing belt I would say. I had the car for 3 years/30ish thousand miles and it looks older than that.

I have a guy coming to possibly buy it Monday. I can ask him if he's ok with that. I'm hoping so to help my sale and make you happy too lol.

Oh man, I actually drove this car for the first time since my surgery today. I totally don't want to sell it. :( I got a Subie thumbs-up from a dude with a badass sounding 06/07 wingless STi this morning on 36.

I have had so many people make plans to come see it (a lot from North Dakota) and then not show up.
