Selling my 2005 CGM WRX STi This car is my daily driver, excellent mechanical shape, body is good for its age/miles. Bought last year in February. Minor scuffs, typical paint chips on the front end. No rust. Southern car originally, bought from Georgia. Stock except for exhaust, this is the most modded the car has ever been. Clean title, clean carfax, never been wrecked. Full disclosure: the front passenger door has been repainted at some point though, in certain light it is barely noticeable (pics do show this, very slight difference, not noticeable most of the time) 116k miles on it currently, will go up slowly as it's my DD 3" bell mouth downpipe w/Flowmaster 3" exhaust Viper green calipers (done by previous owner, high-quality paint job) Wingless trunk (welded and painted, very well done) KNS Brakes premium brake rotors front/rear put on 15k ago w/StopTech Street pads, Motul fluid (will include what's left of the can) Continental Extreme Contact DW 235/45/17 tires with ~10-11k on them, good for at least this summer and next yet depending on your driving habbits, great tires: very precise, very sticky New-ish Blizzak 225/45/17 winter tires with only 1 winter on them so far (~5k) Tranny shifts smoothly still, no grinds in any gear. AC is cold. Motor is solid, oil has been changed at 5k with Rotella T6 Synthetic 5w-40 and a Purolator filter since I've owned it. Timing belt was done at ~90k. Car is very solid in all ways and drives great. I'm not desperate to get rid of it, I am only looking to sell it so I can eventually buy a newer Tacoma, I need more space for bikes and shooting gear/targets/etc, I spend too much time outdoors and need the utility of a truck. Would consider partial trade for an older 2.2l Impreza/Legacy wagon (must be a 2.2l) to use in the interim. Price is $15k Chris Dellwo 612 240 8223, call after 4pm or email anytime will get fasted response. Available to show it after 4pm on weekdays and most weekends [email protected]
Thanks^ I did have someone contact me with an STi trunk/spoiler that he would be willing to swap for the wingless if any potential buyers would prefer the original STi wing. I can put buyers in contact (or he can post here) if interested-
Update: driver side rear wheel bearing has been replaced and a 4 wheel alignment done by Yang at Devoted.
No tune on it currently. Doing my research when I bought the TBE: Per Unabomber on NASIOC 04/05 STIs do not *require* any engine management with a TBE (though most of the gains come with a tune, I just never had the extra money), they are not as sensitive as the 06+ ECUs. I also do not beat on this car, it never sees redline, never been to the track, etc. Source: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=445812
