Here is a video I quickly tossed together last night of our shops trip to Houghton, MI for the 2008 LSPR. The scenery was amazing, people were very friendly, and the cars were amazing. We made the 11 hour trip to volunteer as course marshal's and I would highly recommend volunteering to anyone that is interested in Rally. Up close to the action, and you get located in spots that spectators rarely know about. Enjoy the video! Jason Christopherson Store Manager Tintmasters www.tintmasters.net
yeah sorry about the song haha....I needed a song that was upbeat and had spots I could use for transitions... And the emo part of the song for when they were working on the cars.... It was a great time! - Jason
we got super lucky on ALL occasions. Everytime we were dropped off, it was like...REALLY?!?! The one on tarmac had the most amazing view behind us of the Copper Harbor city and Lake Michigan....We were thousands of feet up and it was absolutely amazing. GREAT time!
there really is no such thing as a straight line in Utecht's Mustang! cool footage from the gravel pit. do you have more footage from Brockway? i would love to see it if you do. as far as music and rally videos go i am a big fan of engine noise and cheering fans myself. that being said it did edit together nicely.
you guys did get really lucky. brockway mt. is so beautifull. best place in rallying to marshall. even with no cars there is still something to look at.
I do have a bit more, is there a car in particular you would like footage of, or just more at that turn in general? Here you go!
Awesome thanks! Yeah any video you have of Kyle on brockway: <------ would be cool to see. Gravel tires on tarmac FTW
The video has the first pass Kyle made on the hairpin...He was the only one the hung it around on the first pass. Second pass has much less coverage, and a lot less of a vantage point The video of Kyle I put on youtube looks like a car and driver video at the start of his clip. The 4 of us were rootin' him on hard. Such an impressive, skillful driver/codriver. I hope 2009 brings some big advances to him from a sponsorship standpoint!
