    Looks good, you should have heat wrapped it before install. I had to wrap mine after I installed it and it was a pain but keeps temps a lot cooler.

    I wrapped mine (04) and it stays pretty cool, just from running it and then feeling it. I have no data on temps underhood or intake temps, but it was pretty easy to do. I would recommend not using the stainless ties they try to sell you and just buy some stainless steel hose clamps (the worm gear kind) and just use those. Also, you get the super awesome smoke pouring out of your hood scoop for a couple days after and it smells like burnt toast on road trips :)

    I really don't want to put anything on my downpipe... I think I am going to fab up some more heat shielding.

    Did the same type of thing with my heat shield though I drilled out the spot weld so it's a little cleaner. I haven't wrapped mine and haven't had any issues with heat or what not. I don't feel it's really worth it for the performance factor, but to each their own.

    If your not trying to make huge power you dont rreally need to wrap it..
