Well, it turned out pretty good. Factory speakers are garbage. Many videos on YouTube on how to do it. Other than the soldering iron and clippers, I only needed screw drivers and a plastic pry tool.

I got the Pioneers from Crutchfield and they came with the adapters. The Kickers were the factory kit from Erik at Morries.

I’m assuming that it was well worth the money?

So far, yes... keep in mind I have an Android head unit. Not very powerful or a great equalizer. Better so far? Yes... Can it be better? Yes... what will that take to make it awesome? Who knows?.... Maybe a self powered sub. Maybe a better head unit. Maybe amps on the new speakers. Maybe a new car? Maybe.

I’ve wondered about those head units and CarPlay head units. Do you know what type of wattage they put out? Is it even a per channel thing like back in the day? Like 35watts per channel, etc

3.5 watt? who knows for a 1 inch thick android tablet?

    **Edit**

More like 45w per channel. I need to tinker with the equalizer more. Like I said, probably need external eq and amp.
