I know that it's only February, but it's time to start thinking about having the windows down and the sweet smell of catless exhausts consuming the interiorz! So we've got a date for the cruise and it's Saturday, August 29th! You’ve never been to an MnSubaru LAX cruise?What is it and what is to be expected!?.... The LaXCruise is more than a decade old! It is a lengthy Subaru enthusiast driven cruise to LaCrosse, Wisconsins' Copeland Park! We have a HUGE shelter rented to park the cars under to protect us from the summer heat or rain! It is a family oriented cruise that allows us to enjoy a long drive accompanied by a BBQ, raffle with Subaru inspired prizes, games/shenanigans, and also camping for those of us that like to make a night of it and carry on the fun into Sunday! Plan on a beautiful drive to WI, accompanied by great friends, a chance to admire others' Subies, awesome prizes donated by our sponsors that promote Subaru love in MN, food and games! ***In order to really make it work, we need people to get signed up early and clear their calendars!*** ***If using Paypal to make payment, please Private Message me and i’ll send you the PayPal address.*** -Make sure that you put your “SCREEN NAME” in the "Notes" section along with LAX so that i know it's for the cruise and to identify who you are! The money collected will help cover the shelter rental, food and some of the prizes/entertainment! \/\/\/'Soft' Itinerary (may be some additions)\/\/\/ Saturday-August 29th: *8am-Arrive at Inver Grove Heights Walmart in the North parking lot. Smooze and grab your cruise route info and raffle tickets and prepare yourself for a day of Subaru bliss! Location address: WalMart 9165 Cahill Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN (We meet on the north side of the building closest to Concord) *8:45/9am-Drivers meeting to discuss cruise etiquette. *9am-We leave promptly at 9am to ensure that we arrive just before lunch time. This allows myself and other volunteers to get food ready (if there is no caterer)and get stuff set up and also get the mass amounts of Subarus parked! *11:30am/12pm-Arrive at Copeland Pavillion in LaCrosse, park cars, set up, and get ready to eat!! *12pm-Lunch time! Omnomnom. This will be a hot lunch that will be catered in and ready upon arrival. *1pm/2pm-Games and Subie fellowship...check out the cars!! *2pm-Around 2ish, we will begin the raffle and start giving away subie goodies and or subie- related goodies thanks to our local sponsors! You don't want to miss it!! We will also choose our favorite ride for the Grimmspeed “Best of Show” award! Make sure you shine or muddy up your ride before the event to make sure that you’re Subie is looking his/her best! **After the raffle (3pm-ish): We have the shelter until 7pm, so we can hang out and enjoy the summer day and the mass amount of Subarus into the early evening. After the raffle, you are pretty much able to do whatever you'd like, whether it be head back to the cities, drive up to Grandads' Bluff to enjoy the sunset, or just hang and enjoy eachothers company! We will be heading to Goose Island Campgrounds in the early evening to get tents set up and have dinner for those that are feeling up to it (cost is about $18-$20/site)! We usually come up with some fun night time activities for those that stick around Saturday night, and caravan back together or in small groups on Sunday morning before or after Perkins breakfast. Take advantage on Sunday and cruise up WI. Hwy 35 back home! If you are new to the forum, i HIGHLY recommend that you attend this event and get to know some of your fellow MNSubaru members. It's on my calendar. I'm not sure if my wife would come along or not - it would be hard to leave the little doggie home alone all day. Now I have to find a Subaru to rent. Or steal.
Last time I did that, there was that homeless crackhead guy that wanted to smoke with us and showed us that pipe and river rocks he had in his hand

as stated I may come but in the rx7... I will try to get my son to bring his Forester and enjoy the drive.. Ill see if he wants to and bring some mates.. Ill probably bring one of the other 3 kids haha will confirm in a bit
currently on the schedule to work that weekend but will try to switch, might be hard with co workers wanting to go to PG, still many months away but will try to be there
I still miss that car TO THIS DAY spoke with my boy.. he is interested.. he should have his license by then and car insured and driving.. will confirm eventually
