    With the lack of activity around here these days, I am considering not doing the cruise this year. Not because I don’t WANT to do it, but because it’s like a ghost town around here and I don’t want to go through all of the work to put it on only to have no one show up.

    Tell me that I’m wrong and raise a hand if you want the cruise to keep happening!!

    The MTN ROO group has fell apart so no unfortunately. But Mac, Tyson, and were just talking about the cruise last night and we will be there!

    I am always in for a cruise and camping MNsubaru sponsored or not. Shocker my favorite parts are your parents catering and the camping. The rest I could take or leave.

    I will be very bummed out if this site closes down. I understand the reasoning, but it still sucks. I'm a maybe for the cruise, depending on the dates. Definitely will try to make it though!

    It's funny you say this. The Infiniti Q50 forum I am on is very active. But then again it is a national forum like LegacyGT.com which appears to still be very active even though Subaru has not made an enthusiast oriented Legacy for quite a number of years now. I suspect it is because of a higher average age of the owners and they "grew up" utilizing forums rather than Facebook groups. I have met only four members from MNSubaru but yet I feel like I "know" many more of you. I keep coming back to this site for the humor...there are some seriously funny people here. Maybe this is the year I end up going on the cruise.

    I made a thread earlier this year, or maybe last about the lack of traffic on here these days. At any given moment I could go online and there would be like 4-5 moderators “online” and quite a few members. Not to mention “guests”. Now I am usually the only moderator online and the amount of traffic has dropped off substantially!

    It IS sad! This place has been home for me since 2007. It will be weird for it to be retired. But I understand the situation that Russ is in with it and it is what it is. I love this site and it is home. Sometimes we have to move on though.

    I mean, I keep paying the t3hw00t.com hosting bill, there's literally nothing but a placeholder HTML page on there directing to our discord server at this point.
    I've been meaning to wipe all our databases on the hosting service, and clean out the files. The cost of the hosting is trivial to me at this point, so if we can pack up a back up, I could migrate it to t3hw00t's hosting, and you'd just point the DNS for MNSubaru to our hosting and that's that.
    You'd still be in control, technically, as you'd still own the DNS bill. Not sure what your being charged yearly for it, but for me it's $10/yr to maintain the .COM record for t3hw00t. You'd probably be out a one time fee of 50 bucks to hold it for another 5 years.
    Your call man, hit me on my cell or via Hangouts or something, and I can help chat through the details. I can't imagine it'd be terribly hard to migrate it.

    Also, tentatively count us in for this year, though we weren't sure if we could make it this year or not. We usually don't decide this early on LAX, so it's hard to say what the schedule looks like.

    @WRX1 It goes without saying that I'd continue hosting it free of charge until you gave up on the DNS/domain registration, or I decided to not pay the bill. If that was the case, I would give everyone a long notice.
    Bottom-line, while I may not stop by here very often, I do, like many others, still <3 this place and if people are still using it a bit, I'll host it for a while.

    Haven't been on the forum too much as life has been busy but I will do everything possible to be there. The wife and I are expecting a little baby boy may 1st and I'm hoping he will travel well enough to make the trip with my wife in her new '20 Forester Sport while I take the wagon again. Just joined a couple years ago sad to possibly see the end.
