Anyways, to answer your question, the LaXCruise is not happening this year in the same capacity as it has in the past. I have been thinking of putting on a cruise to LaCrosse for camping. I'm interested! Been going to a few car shows recently and looking to get out again. I have been on lockdown for about 1 year now. ALSO (and random)...if anyone is interested in KAYAK FISHING in the south metro/Bloomington area I did that a lot last summer and had fun. Bass and pike. Shoot me a message if you'd be interested. Will catch plenty of fish. I don't eat them, but won't judge you if you do.
There's no reason we cant all be vaccinated, except that stupid people gunna be stupid and refuse. Anti-vaxers ruin things for the rest of us and are the same people who wouldn't follow rules and got us to where we are in the first place.
I agree, but I would say about 20% of the population are crazies. That includes probably 20% of MNSubaru. I know people who seem totally normal but are flat earthers, don't believe in dinosaurs...etc. You surely can't expect everyone to be vaccinated. There are people literally at the moment of their death from COVID, denying it exists... The reality is you can expect about 1 in 5 people will never be vaccinated unless they basically have to (example: their job or school required it).
My immune system is working like god gave it to me and I take care of i, eat right etc...weeds out the weak and lets all know... that said I am happy to mask up like I do everyplace, distance and roll. Stop the fear of being around others. Safe spacing and well being of our car enthusiasts is what its about. Not letting media scare ruin any meet ups should be present in everybodys mind at this point.
I'm a trucker. I'm all over Mn, Nd, Sd, Ia, Wi, Ne. But I have yet to get covid. With that said I'm not going to be a test dummy for the government so called vaccine that can make women who get it go sterile and mutate your dna so no Im not getting it. I'm not crazy I'm just a normal northern Minnesota guy.
This is what I was referring to. There are people I know that won’t get it and they don’t get any vaccines because their immune system is compromised. Whether you don’t get it because your health is too sketchy, or you don’t because you have conspiracy theories motivating you, or you just don’t because you believe that making healthy decisions is good enough. No matter how you slice it, not everyone will get vaccinated. Just a simple truth. We can eat French toast without a mask on in the restaurant, so it’s going to happen! Just need to figure out when.

Would anyone be interested in a meet at the Coon Rapids cruise on Saturday, June 12th? The cruise usually runs 6pm to 9pm. Just throwing it out there.
You just go drive around and/or find a place to park if you wanna just sit and watch. Parking can be pretty hard to find as it's typically pretty nuts.
Coon Rapids cruise happens every Saturday evening from 6pm to about 9pm or later. It's along Coon Rapids Blvd. I think the easiest place to meet would be the large parking lot at Grand Slam. Then folks can hang out, or go cruise the strip. I'm down for Sat. June 12th.

You can't park at grand slam. There are security guards that prevent it. You can meet in the liquor store or somewhere else. I typically start at the roller rink just up the road.
