First off - I love the 335 platform. If a 335xiT with 6MT would have been available when I bought my 07 WRX wgn ltd, well, I wouldn't be on this site... Was in traffic behind a new 535xiT on the way home tonight...a simply gorgeous beast. Anywho, I find it a bit pointless to compare a typically equipped $50k car with a typically equipped $25k car. For the delta in base price alone you could have a Subie that could shear the doors off a 335 (or new M3 FWIW)...or, you could have two Subies (with exponentially great reliability)! I'm not saying...I'm just saying.
as a onwer of both cars, id pick the sti over it, but it rely depends, if i wanted a baller car with enuff speed to get me by id pick the bmw.(ladies luv that car). as for racing and tuning id go for the sti. when i got read of my 335 to justin i have not regreted it yet, i luv my sti.
