    there a guy on YOUTUBE who has a 3d printed shift knob and there is a website attached to it that has the plans to make it and such but where does one go to have it printed besides the obvious GOOGLE search any thoughts

    Some libraries have printers, free even.

    Make friends with someone that works at Stratasys. They're just down the street from where I work. And, no, I don't want to.

    @SimRacer works there... and loves having his inbox flooded (as well as his outbox, but that's a whole different conversation).

    Some UPS stores around Minneapolis have our uPrint 3d printers. Def. big enough to print a shift knob. I can send you the STL files. I am not sure how much they would charge either.

    What company is it you work for?

    Protolabs is one of our resellers, not sure if they do printing services.
