I am going to be doing the good ole 5spd swap here in the near future. Does anyone have a diagram of what pins need to be jumpered on the plug so that I do not have to worry about the neutral safety witch?

basically on the 12 pin AT plug... the 2 thicker wires need to be joined together.

i got this one down now... the white w/ red and yellow wires need to be put together and the LIGHT green wire needs to be grounded to the chassis to tell the car its in nuetral. then to get the key out there is 2 sets of 2 wires that have to be put together inside the car. i will double check tomorrow which 2 go together when i go out to the car again. the speedo will need to be wired too.

^^ Umm, your car is more than a few years newer. You can't count on anything being the same.

thanks for the input. I havent gotten around to the swap yet, so I cant verify wire colors as the same yet. I will also be on the look out for 2 thicker wires.

FYI: my car is a 1995 Impreza LX. Oddly enough my car has a vastly different wiring harness than other imprezas (learned the hard way). Hopefully the 4EAT harness is not so wierd.
