So im looking at re-building my trani on my 03rex and i have a question. I know that if i do full PPG gears i will spends 5000+ dollars to do it. So i know that you can get bigger automatic tranis that are built to hold lots of horsepower because i was looking at getting one for my chevy. So my question is are there companies that make 5 speed transmission for a 5 speed Subaru that can hold a lot of HP or am i better off doing PPG Gears? Thanks

What is your idea of a lot of HP? Also RA gears are another option.

MFactory might have something out pretty soon, pretty strong (from what I read, they said not as strong as ppg, but should be able to handle street power), a bit cheaper than PPG

well...look around, i've seen a few sell the whole tranny built, but I think it's more easier to buy another tranny and have it sent off to get it built.

Read this back to yourself and tell me what the hell you are trying to say.

Also, I have PPGs, they are rock solid. There are locals that can install PPG gears for you no problem...and for alot less than AndrewTech + Shipping.

Ok this is wha i was trying to say... (i was on my phone at a wedding when i typeed it) SRY. SO i know that i have to do all of the gears in my trani because i have a full stage 2 and clutch so i have only had the car for three months and i have driven it for only one month. So i want to get it done asap so i can actually drive my car instead of just look at it . And secondly thank you for your help i think i will just do PPG gears instead and ill just have a local guy do it...

And Also if i do a 6 speed you have to convert driveshats gears and run a new computer of the trani... More work than its worth
    Thanks EVeryone
