    Do modern Legacy GT's (2.5 turbo) and H6 legacy's have the same 5EAT with manumatic mode?

    They don't have the manumatic mode, (6 cyl) not sure on the gear ratios either, but i do know they are both the 5eat

    Mike's talking about the sport-shift, and yes, they both should have it. The gear ratios will more than likely be different on the 6cyl vs the GT.

    It's basically the same tranny, though? Same wiring?

    I think, i'm not 100% on that though. I would guess that they have the same pole count in the connectors, and that they are arranged the same.

    This could be a solution to the shift linkage problem in the MR car.

    Auto would definitely make it easier. 5-speeds are nice. They can definitely hold some power too.

    The steering wheel controls aren't really needed IMO. If I did this on the MR car, I'd make paddles on either side of the steering column. One for up, one for down.

    Hmmmm......5EAT + LGT ECU + EJ22T + WRX heads + MR Impreza + DIY Paddleshifters.
