Looks like one of the rubber bushings are worn. There are 2. My teacher told me they are made to move around but one looks worn out. This is all I can find. But I don't really think that rubber piece could cause so much trouble. Will Warrenty cover this? - A Clunk on every corner doesn't sound cool -
I think I might be able to decipher tuxinese... I think you're referring to the pitch-stop bushings? It's quite possible that your mad redline-launching-1/4-mile-at-a-time has worn the bushings prematurely. Once again, you COULD take it to a dealership and see if they will cover it. However, (as you've been told so many, many times before) don't have expectations that they will replace it, as the warranty doesn't cover racing or abuse. Whether you want to admit it or not, you've been abusing the car. And this forum.
Pitch stop mount???? That has two bushings. Tranny mount???? Not a bushing. Download the factory service manual and READ.

Wow. This is awesome. Bring it in. They can tell you if you need new bushings and whether or not they'll cover it.

Why would you say you've launched the car when you actually didn't? Sounds like immature high school banter. Statements like these just make you look even more spoiled and clueless. People here have genuinely tried to help, and all you do is respond like a ****tard. If you actually want help, post like an adult. Otherwise, there really is no point of you being here. Most everyone on this forum works hard for what they have, and exude a true interest in these cars and the community. When some kid with an STi comes over and thinks he is hot stuff because he has an STi (which isn't that fast btw), little to no respect is gained for said individual. Those among us that do have a fair amount of knowledge didn't gain it by posting every single piddly question on a forum. There are so many resources out there for these cars, posting usually isn't necessary. Did I learn how to put my motor together by posting eight million questions about? Hell no. I read on my own, and learned by doing. Like I said before, download a FSM or buy yourself a Haynes manual. You'll save everyone a lot of headache. That being said, get off your ass and get the car into the dealer if you are not capable of diagnosing it. When my car was under warranty, I took it in for every little problem...99% of the things were covered. Take it to the dealership. /thread. And I am sooo jealous of your warranty!:roll:
