    Car as is in title.

    Back story...

Removed intake to modify fuel rails (not important why) put it all back together and fuel pump would not turn on (didn't hear the whirr of it when key was first in ignition). Found that I had not connected a ground to the intake; connected it; the fuel pump then started working. Cranked it over, won't start. Shot starting fluid in, ran as long as the vapors were available. Would not stay running. Got frustrated and went inside for the night.

    Next day...

Put 12V to a spare injector I have to see what happens...it clicks.

Pulled an injector from the fuel rail and put 12V to it and it clicked (don't have a noid light set).

Fuel pump now will not turn on.

I can't find a fuel pump fuse or relay. What controls the fuel pump and injectors? Don't say bad ECU because I swapped in another known good ECU and the symptoms remained.

I know I connected the following...

    IACV
    TPS
    CAM sensor
    MAF
    MAP
    Ignitor
    Coolant sensor

I never touched the crank sensor or the knock sensor.

Help me out on this one please.

    Thanks

I'd say keep checking your grounds. That's my first guess. Also double-check everything you touched when you tested the injector, as something might have changed then.

it does have a main and fuel relay. under the dash on the left side. right under the A-pillar. they're a bear to get to, IIRC. But, tan/orange square relay with 6 wires is the main relay, standard 4-wire relay with a green plug is fuel, both on the same bracket with a 3rd relay (for the A/C, IIRC).

are your injectors getting power? each should have a yellow wire that gets 12v when the key is on. this is the same circuit as the fuel relay.....but it's also the same wire that turns the ECU on, and without that.....no ignition. which you do have.

actually, come to think of it. will it run on starting fluid since you tested the injector? maybe you blew a fuse then, and now nothing's coming on.

Chux is probably onto something I had some issues like this but entirely unrelated which caused the car not to start and it involved popping some fuses after having disconnected/reconnected some wiring. good luck.

Went out This morning and shot starting fluid in it... No spark. I'll check to see if the ecu has voltage after work.

Got home from work...ECU has voltage but while jiggling the wires around the relays clicked. There is a wiring issue near the ECU. I had an E-Manage Ultimate installed so I'll start looking for a broked or frayed wire amongst those ruins.

Thanks for jumping on this so quick. Sometimes it takes others to get you thinking on the right path.
