I don't know whether or not anyone would be looking for such a car - but I figured I would put something up. My dads '98 Outback has a blown head gasket and decided to get a new forester instead of spending the money in labor fees it's got 218k miles on it... but it's in good shape yet - just doesn't pay to get it fixed - and we usually end up getting a new Subie every 5 years anyhow. Right now it's going to end up getting scrapped so if anyone's interested lemme know.
What kind of price are we talking? Auto or 5mt. I'm looking for a starter rally car and this might be the way to go.
Sorry about that Guys - I rushed off to work right after I posted You can contact my dad for details ...his Cell # is (952) 797-3928
Just in case you don't sell this, here's where you should take it: http://www.newgateschool.org/ My '99 Outback blew its SECOND headgasket at this time last year, so I donated it here. Because the school was able to repair it and sell it, I could then claim it as a tax deduction at fair market value (if you donate it to a place that just scraps it, you legally can't claim much of a tax deduction). I donated it on New Year's eve and claimed it on my 2007 tax returns. Really nice group of people running the place. Granted, FMV on a car with 218K miles won't be much, but it also felt good to think the car would actually go to good use and maybe help someone else out. PM me if you need more details.
