does anyone know of anyone that check out why the passenger side headlight is dimmer than the drivers side. I already checked all the grounds and bought new headlight. so something else is wrong. anyone??
Voltage?? If you have the same voltage at the bolb, swap bulbs from side to side to see if the problems moves. Russ
So you swapped bulbs from side to side, and the same side stayed dim with 2 different bulbs?? If that is the case, you are not getting full voltage to the bulb. So then you are looking at a wire/connector problem. Just dump in a couple of relays and rewire them. Probably get it done in a matter of a hour. Russ
that is probably the best way of going about this problem. I was trying to stay away from it. I hate wiring
its actually my dads truck. He has been talking about fixing it for over a month. I finally went over there to look at it and I can't figure it out either. I wanted to stay with the stock wiring but maybe the rewireing route is the best way to go.
Well, check the voltage. Maybe it is just a bad connector (I have seen that). Maybe you have power on the wires and it is just the bulb connector. If that is the case, then you just need to replace the connector. If you are only getting 5-6-7-8 volts on the wires, then it is time to pull the wires and hunt down the problem, or rewire. Russ
