:laugh: today, i went to this get together party hosted by a girl and I told her that i just bought a new car and thats my 2002 subaru wrx impreza. She flipped out saying, "OMG OMG OMG YOU HAVE A SUBARU WRX, OMG OMG OMG CAN I TEST DRIVE IT, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. THATS MY DREAM CAR, I REALLY WANT ONE." well, since she already graduated from college and currently employed at a stable job, i agreed to go ahead and let her test drive my car. we started at the st.pau u of m campus and drove it down to highway 94. and thats when, vrrooooooom vrroooooooom, girls gone wild......... she drove my car at high speeds and surprisingly she's pretty good driving manual. She did some intense TAIL gating that freaked me out, she just wanted the full thrill ride, i for sure had a thrill ride because my car is fully insured but the time and money with the full turbo back mods aren't covered. youch. She even hit a max speed of 125 miles per hour from the 150 mph limiter on the wrx. quite an excitement when you hit speeds up to 100 miles per hour only to slow down and do a 2 feet tail gate on some vehicle thats doing 65 mph. lmao :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: after a 30 minute test drive, my wrx got back to her place in good shape, whew its just weird, because i had a funny feeling like i was in love with this girl who loves subaru wrxs afterwards. See my opinion below: I think it's great that a girl is totally into your car, but to let her drive it like she stole it and not give you a "piece" of it afterwards is wrong (no offense to the gals on here.) If you work it and find out she likes you for you and not for your car [only], I'd say you've made a good investment.

Hot or not...She'd never drive my car again. 120 on a public road? Tailgating? While trying to keep my "cool" I'd casually mention that the WRX's brakes really arent that hot... But that's just me.
What Law are you referring to? As far as I know there isn't anything special in this state about going over 100. A few members here have paid some pretty good tickets, but that is about all.
I know Pahoua personally, I wouldn't borrow her my tricycle even if she ask for it. It's just wrong, I won't even let my wife drive my STi when I had it. Forget that pshhhhh! LOL.

Good for you. Being a girl driver myself I hardly can trust any other girl to touch my car, unless it's my cousin and she's the only one. Girl drivers = scary.
If you are caught now going 100 or higher you get your license suspended. If you are going 20 (or is it 25) and the speeding fine increases dramitcally. I am sure there is more to it but that is the basics of the new, prolly a year (atleast) old by now, speeding laws

Speeding tickets - 30 over the limit is court + probably losing license. I got wayyyy too close to that recently. 29 over. 249 dollar ticket. Sucks hard.
I have been caught over 100mph and I kept my license. It all depends on your record at the time as well as how good your lawyer is.

depends on the county. I paid way less for 100+ in washington county in terms of a fine than i did for 40 over the limit in dakota county
