let's see....subaru made a 2-door pickup in the '80s, then brought it back as a 4-door with a useless bed.

VW made a 2-door pickup in the '80s.......wait a minute

all the parts that flew off it while driving could just be thrown right in the bed!

I don't know. That first photo DEFINITELY looks like it was drawn in a graphics program.

Maybe they got a shot of it driving covered than drew on what they figured it looked like underneath using Photoshop or something.

The shadows and gradients just plain aren't real. Look at em. Too consistent.

Also, there are several differences between the "truck" in the top photo and that in the bottom. Body lines & panels are different, for example.

I could also talk a lot about the various blurred parts and in-focus parts of the "photo" and how it is simply not a photo because that shot would be impossible (motion blur in some parts but not other, etc....). Period.

The second one looks real, though.

Looks like an Explorer Sport Trac had a threesome with a Chevy Colorado and a VW and this was the result. I highly doubt it'll do much here in the US, there just isn't as much of a market as there was even 5 years ago for a truck, compact or otherwise.
