I am driving to Indy and have no air, it sucks.

OK I have checked this site and Nasioc, still having trouble pin pointing this problem.

AC system fully charged, jumpered relay and compressor works fine and cold air comes out.

Compressor clutch engagement does not occur when AC button depressed.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

is the switch its self working? other wise you may need to get a diagram for the ac wiring and see what else the system runs threw.

Manual switch until you can chase it down? There's a relay or two that should be checked as well.

Is there anything I can break by bypassing the safety circuits? Swapped relays for fans and compressor. There is no signal going to the relay coil side.

MW sounds like the issue I had with mine, full charge, and no AC, on cold morning the AC clutch would catch or when the the unit was still cold it would catch a little and engage a little coldness. It is likely the clutch, how many miles? I also found out that the unit is more reliable if you use it more often, which was something I apparently did not. So I ended up replacing it with a used one, its still sitting in my garage haven't installed it. I also took off the belt too while it wasn't working because during winter it would catch and start stressing my engine as if AC was running. I had also checked with the dealer and they don't just sell the clutch alone, it would cost +$500 for the whole unit. So run it by the boys that work at MNTKA to see if they have any suggestions otherwise its off to Junkyard candy land.

Nope compressor and clutch work great, I jumpered out the relay and it worked perfect. I think it must be one of the Thermal Switches or the Low Pressure Switch.
