i have been serching the web for how to do this and found a site ( http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/14.03/start.html?pg=15 ) and have followed directions but when i get to the end of the 3rd part it wont go in my ipod. so if any one could help that would be great!
I got soem free programs that work... I have about 21 movies on my ipod... I will get the links later for you.. tis a 2-3 step process with 3 different programs.. theway I do it.. that way its free, I am sure you can just buy a $30 program that does it all in one.. but I am too cheap
slysoft.com has clonedvd mobile (or something like that) not free but works well, esp for psp and ipod and others
If you're using a mac there is a program called handbrake that I have been using for a while. It works excellent and is free. Depending on the speed of your processor it can take a while to actually rip a full length dvd. It rips to Mpeg-4 which iPods can read. winavi video converter. Your one stop shop. You can find it on torrent sites if your into that, or you can buy it. It also converts to psp and other formats. Very slick. Also, dvdfab is a kick-ass prog that converts your dvd's, rips, burn's...very nice-ah! "If your running a windows setup(I'm sorry if you are)" - typical friggin mac eliteist! HAHA! Don't get me wrong, I love a nice mac, but really...at least I can fix my machine myself with affordable parts if it happens to give me a "sad gates"! Just razzin' ya man. Macs are very nice.
Funny. Sorry, I do tend to get a little one sided when it comes to apple products. I still run a pc that I use for various programs that I have networked with my mac. I just don't let the pc run me anymore.
I have both a HP Pavillion and a MacBook... give me the HP anytime... I like my mac but I dont know the system well enough... and they are supposed to be foolproof.. I did my update the day I got it and it crashed 5 hrs after getting it.. My HP still hasnt... ha hah a.. and windows based you can get a lot more FREE programs... ha ha
use those names in a search engine... 2 of them i got free... the dvdfab decrypot is free but you dotn get the full use... Quick Video Convertor you can use like 15 times.. I ended up buying that one as I use it for all sorts of video stuff... the ipod convertor I downloaded on limewire or something...
