adjusting headlights??.. help!!..

stupid question.. but how do i adjust the headlights on my 2001 2.5rs to make them lower..??.. they seem to only go up.. not down..

 

oh i did the oppisite, i need mine higher but i keep setting them lower.

there are long screws on the backs of your head lights. there should be one on both sides of the head lights. the looser you turn them the lower they get. capiche?

 

yeah i tried that.. it wouldnt go down any further.. what now??..

 

i almost guarentee you were spinning the little white plastic caps at this time you need to take a vice grip and clamp onto the rusty steel yea i know its a bitch to clamp unclamp reclamp and turn the big clunky vice grips in that tiny little space (thats why i havent done it yet :laugh: jk but seriously)

it is such a pita and a slow process but just get it done.

Adjust anything you see around the headlight that CAN be adjust and watch if your head light goes up/down. Thats what I did at first when I have no clue how to adjust mine. Got it pretty good too.
