was just talking to AIR-HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS INC who have the Aeroquip van hear in the twin cities about a group buy ware we could all meet up a one place and have the van show up to make or purchase new An lines or fittings for our cars. Just want to see who is all interested in this? Post up if you would show up. Im still working with them now on prices but there standard rate is .50 cents a mile to get to you, and a big $70/hour to make the lines. Now I will post up when they call me what the final price will be but I figure we could get a big brake off parts and labor if we did a whole day depending on how many people are interested. Im doing it regardless to save $$ in trips back and forth to mas but I would want to worn them to stock up if there is a ton of people that want stuff.
I need about 6 lines made thus far. I'd want to know pricing on the things I need, but I would be down for this. Aren't you glad you stopped by last night, Matt?
Aeroquip hose ends are the easiest to work with I've experienced thus far. Its pretty easy actually. The key is to make a nice cut by wrapping it with electrical tape. I say just get bulk line and what you think you'll need for fittings and hose ends. Things don't always go to plan. I made my third trip to MAS today to get this damn AFPR done.
and thats why im haveing them come to us and them make them. they screw it up they fix it. plus all we need to do is tell them what kind of stuff we need and they will make sure they bring it with them
MAS is still open? I thought they closed. I may be making a trip to MAS if that is the case. I need lines this week.
