Leave the intake and get the car tuned.

The car already comes with a 70mm intake, you will need to do a bunch of work before you will max that out. So unless you plan on running a fmic any time soon, spend your money elsewhere. Downpipe and a tune will get you well over 300ftlbs of tq.

just put a cone filter where the air box should be and you will get the sound you are looking for. but don expect any power gains. the first two response you got are from people who know a fair bit about what they are talking about so stick with the stock piping.

Well for a tune there is a few tuners on this forum, I would check out the SEARCH feature. It really will bring up a lot of good stuff. You can check out tuner reviews and see what some people have had done. Search for topics that start with Tune or Tuner.

I would do the same for downpipes. I am sure that there are more than a few people who have had your car and have done some stuff to it. If you have any questions on some of the older theads I would ask.

    I hope this helps.

yes, downpipe and tune!! IIRC Lachute was popular for some of the LGT folks a couple years back, but kinda spendy i think.

I've worked on a few LGT's and I installed a DP on two of them. i know one had a Bullwinkle tune and the midrange torque was incredible!!! 100% better than stock

That does not work on new LGTs, the MAF housing is part of the airbox.
