Why? From the debadging? I never had a problem with it in the Evo. People do it all the time. Never heard of being pulled over from it.

If a cop wants to know what kind of car it is, he/she will ask. Besides, when they run the plate, they'll get all that info anyways.

Who said anything about painting the tail lights. I said I wanted to get rid of the chrome. Painting is definately an option. So is a vinyl wrap over it.

Iroc needs to read a little more because they are talking about painting the crome piece that is between the tail lights not the tail light covers.

Isnt there some JDM piece you can use instead? You know, one that probably costs $300.00+?

They are very light when I pick them up. They are lighter than the Rotas I just sold. By a long shot.

I don't know about you, but we don't have a scale at work. And I'm pretty sure ALT knows the weight of their rims.

You dont have a scale at home? I bet you do. These are advertised forged wheels for under 1k shipped, for 18's! That's not very common. Show us the weight, its not much to ask.

Those should look good. Don't go cheap on tires. I made that big mistake and I am still paying for it.

    Oh, ask Dream... Hella light-weight.

They are hyper black. Which is exactly what I wanted. 18x8 which is excactly what I wanted. And forged... more than I could have asked for (for the money).

I will see how the powdercoating and structure holds up. I'm hoping to get them mounted this weekend. But that all depends on a good buddy.

They'd be better if I had 09 struts. Not sure if it settled or if the new tires are filling in better (a little larger than they should be). I have 235/40/18s on there now.

Finally got a K&N drop-in. A guy on iwsti was selling it cause he thought you needed a tune with it. $20 shipped. You had to look hard to see any sign of use.

It's not really 09 style. It's custom. The 09 lower portion wasn't painted (raw plastic). Mine is painted (the 09 dark grey). I think it has a cleaner look. :)
