When I was in college in St. Paul (13 years ago, jeesh, I'm old) we'd make our own Domihoe's coupons on the school's fancy-for-then printers. It was always funny to get something like 2 large pizzas, wings, soda, etc. for $8.99. The drivers were befuddled but we did tip well...
^ I once found a Dominos Coupon that was 2 Large Pizza's, Unlimited toppings for like $5. We called and said "What kind of meat do you have...ok, put all of that, plus green peppers and jalopeanos on 2 large pizzas" it was great, they looked at us kinda funny. I personally like Domino's way better than Pizza Hut, and that was true before I worked at the Hut and ate far too much of it.
Pizza Hut is terrible. Dominos is a step up, albeit a small step. Papa Johns is deece. For you guys up in D-town, VIP FTMFW!!!! I miss VIP so much. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a pizza snob. I'm spoiled by working at Old Chicago.
I don't just deliver them. it's pretty much all I eat. it's cheaper than paying for groceries! I love it. but you gotta add some cheddar and/or provolone to the mix. that's the key, getting extra cheeses (and not just more of the same cheese, although that does help). I bet at least half of you who say you hate domino's would be pleasantly surprised if you added cheddar to your next pie :yumyum:
They dont deliver but Red Savoys Pizza in St.Paul is the best pizza in the whole entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frankie's in SLP (also in Wayzata) is the best on the west side. Luce is the best in the DT/Uptown area. I also have a fondness for Pizza Central (St. Paul) or Beeks (SLP) if you like 'za thin and greasy.
As far as delivery goes, Domino's is the worst IMO, Papa John's FTW, and Pizza Hut is a close second to the Papa.
