I only found a thread from 2005, but if anyone is interested in playing some pool next saturday in coon rapids/fridley (either two stooges or CR's) let me know. I'm always looking for some competitive play. If you have some suggestions for around St. Paul that have nice tables (preferably diamond tables and not valley lol) let me know. I haven't found any (but havent really looked too hard). I'll play 7/9 ft. or 12 ft if you can find a snooker table around.
I get free play at the EP bowling alley and i dont play very often. But if you wanna play darts... that too is free and i'm very competive
I used to play all the time back in the late 90's. I was at Crown every tuesday and Friday night. I haven't played in a long time, though I still have my Cue. I'd be game for non-competitive play.
If enough people want to play, we can get a couple tables, that way the beginners have a chance too. Ryan you should be fine, Im not a shark, and i havent played consistently for a while. It would be fun to play with different people and skill levels, I usually play with the same people. Post up some suggestions for locations and maybe we can find something closer for more people to come to.
I hit up Rack em' Up in Oakdale every few weeks...might be going there this weekend depending on a few variables, but its only 7.50 per head and you can play as long as you want...not the best tables but they are nice enough for the price.
I used to shoot on a league down at shooters. Kinda want to get back into it, but have not taken the initiative.
If you do fridley, I may be down to join. I am not a shark by any means, but bar sports are fun
I thought you were gonna go somewhere else with that.. Good to keep it clean The last time I played, it was at billards street on Uni Ave N off 694. I'm also a 8ft / 9ft table player. I hate the small bar tables.
Yeah university billiards, now its billiard st and two stooges(bar) . They have something like 40-50 tables and they are well taken care of. They host leagues from APA and M8, and some tournaments. Theirs and CR's billiards tables are some of the best in the area.
