Does anyone on this board autocross with MNautoX.com? I ask because I was going through some old event pics and spotted some Subies.

The MR2 in front is mine (now my brothers car), but you can see a Silver STi on the left and way in the back right you can see a silver 2.5RS. Anybody here? This took place on August 13th at Dakota County Tech.

Mine is the one w/ "ESP" in the third shot. I know the guys w/ the 133 and the RS, but I don't think they are on this board.

There are a couple other regulars who I imagine will chime in.

I think I was at that event at valley fair last year. I can't remember.

Here goes me at midway 2004.

Picture the car in my avatar with 317 on the side of it.

Here's the website for the MAC pseudo-offical photographer... http://www.superawesome.net/main.php. Lots of Subie love to be found in those albums.

Oh, didn't even notice the green one back there! Nice!

That day was a blast with all the rain. It's too bad they had to cut it short. Did everyone here who went that day get to run? (I know some people didn't...)

Looks like Zak already noted my involvement... Unfortunately, I lost all (only 3) of my pictures when I upgraded my laptop at work... :( As Zak noted, I run DSP with the '00 RS. Looking to do some upgrades to get the points championship back next year...if I don't fully commit to Time Trials (not looking like I willl be able to fully commit next year though, grrrrr). Next step... 245 V710s on 17x8 or 17x8.5 if I can find the right wheel. :)

OK, if you don't like the body kit, how far out will you have to roll the fenders to get a set of 245s under them ? I was under the impression 225s were about as wide as we could go on the GC bodies without some *major* rubbing.

And I like the body kit. I'm not epsecially fond of their Impreza pick-up, though.

^^ i had to roll the fenders pretty good to fit 225/45/17 on a 7.5" rim.

But I would very much like to start autocross now that I have my sticky tires. When does it start up again?

I miss those. The courses/lots that we get to use up here always leave me longing for the fresh and open asphalt of miller park.

I have plenty of room on the RS. I am currently running 225/45-17.. However, note that I run 9k springs so I only get very little travel under AutoX conditions, even on Rs.

I will have to roll for the 245s, but I don't think I will have to flair at all...

Starts in late April or Early May...no scehdule up yet.

yups! That's one reason it brings me over there. The course is WIDE, faster sweepers, faster slaloms, it's just GREAT! Lots of awesome drivers there and the course setup is good for ALL CARS!

I actually might do another run over there next year just for the heck of it. Other than that....some Mid-America!

We should be seeing the first MOWOG events of the year at Valley Fair on the first weekend in May, but last I heard that is still to be confirmed. Also, keep an eye on the website (http://www.mnautox.com) for an announcement for the Novice School, which should be sometime in April.

In the meantime, you might want to brush up on the rules, so you know what class your car will be in (assuming it's modded). These can be found on the SCCA website.

And while you're waiting for the Novice School to come around, buy a copy of this and learn a lot... http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Solo-..._bbs_sr_1/002-3815832-2632021?ie=UTF8&s=books. It can be found on the shelf at most Barnes and Nobles, and I even found a copy at a Half Price Books one time.

    Stuart.
