There is not much salvageable, although I would take the headlamps and passenger side door depending on the condition. Ohh and gauge pod with gauges.
Yeah, body stuff. But nobody cares about that crap. The hood is actually fine, for the most part, but that's if you really want a carbon hood made in China. The car isn't even officially ready for parting/sale yet. This JY just happened to be the closet thing to where the wreck happened. As such, I'm not allowed to divulge it's location just yet
nope, not much salvageable, at all.....accept for the entire driveline and interior  Old ricer chet only thinking about apperence
Front left wheel looks broken ?? I don't have the cash for that, I just want a trunk and door. I saw that too.
I bet the breaks are fine. It looks like it has a gauge pod on the dash, I bet it's got some goodies under the hood too.
I believe that belonged to an asian kid from Moorhead. I recognize the wheels and he had that CF, big scoop hood also. He also had the full ocari style lips/sides but I doubt they stayed on in a roll. I only spoke to him once at the gym.
^I can still see the lip on the passanger side. I just saw the car like 2 weeks ago with some dude that was doing body work on the car driving the **** out of it. I guess it would be funny if that guy wrecked it. I will find out more info when I can.
Again, I wasn't the one who found this. But it is mostly stock except for a BOV and an AEM intake. This junkyard was the closest thing to the site of the wreck, and they haven't even bought the car yet. I'm sure an adjuster will have to look at it before it's even declared a total loss. Then who knows if they'll even buy it or even have the option to buy it.
so, some repair dude was driving the hell out of the car? wow. gotta trust the right mechanics it sounds like.
Youch, bad. Please wear your seatbelts folks. Also -- as much as your instincts tell you, don't swerve to miss an animal at a high speed..
If I would have swerved for a particular deer 4 years ago, I wouldn't be here today. Twelve foot boulders on one side and very large trees on the other. This was on the scenic drive north of Duluth and I was in the top of 4th gear.
Quoted for truth. Trees, ditches, fenceposts, walls, other cars are all a lot worse thing to hit than a deer.
This is my good friends car. We went down to Sauk Centre to pick it up about a week ago. The car is in storage now, but I will be buying the car from him soon and I plan to buy a WRX or 2.5RS to do a full STi swap on. I will most likely sell some of the parts from it too so if you want anything just let me know... there are still a ton of good parts!
BTW... everyone in the car was safe. One person was in the hospital with a broken vertebrate, but he is out now and is doing good.
Yeah that's a quote taken from fargostreet that me and my friend Brian (mr.98gsx) put up like a week ago, and its accurate. Just to throw this out there... the car runs and drives! Put the spare on in place of the broken rim, and threw some oil in and it runs great. The car stopped upside down so all the oil drained out the exhaust valves so when we put more oil in and started it up she smoked so much it put a chipped diesel to shame lol.
Glad to hear everyone survived. Looks horrible. Just an FYI... Oil cannot drain through the exhaust valves unless you have some terrible guide seals. More than likely went into the intake through the PCV system. Lucky it didn't do engine damage from too much oil in the cylinders if you started it.
