I have been there twice since I got to MN. I have 2 cats. I want moar because I love kitties, but I just need to draw the line somewhere, lol.

People need to make the kitties not have more kitties so we don't have to kill kitties.

Stirs up fond memories of the annual Farm Cat Shoot at my uncle's dairy farm in Rhinelander every Easter... With a belly full of ham we went a huntin'... Ruger 10-22 with paired 30rd banana clips FTW.

Down here in the boondocks of Rochester, I know of a Judge who's son goes feral cat hunting. One time though, he shot a cat that belonged to someone (no collar or tags though). They were satisfied with a very genuine apology, the kid was only 17 and felt very bad about taking the life of a pet.

This thread is not about shooting feral cats, alright. Why is it that every time someone tries to do something positive around here some people have to make it into something horrible?

speaking of cats. the other day my neighbor came over and asked if I owned the cat that was following her. I'm allergic to cats so heck no.

Now the damn thing won't leave my house. Everytime I open the garage door it comes running it. Very friendly, very beautiful cat...I just can't have it hanging around. I was trying to swap my suspension a couple days ago and the cat wouldn't stop sitting next to me and meowing.

I can't be mean to the damn thing, I'm an animal lover. This morning it was sitting on my deck right next to the sliding door starring inside. Talk about guilt. :(

What the heck do I do??

I painted my neighbor's cat with some silver high temp paint after it slid down the hood of my cutlass with its claws (the damn near perfect one) while it was in my garage, I think the owners made it an inside cat after that. but ide never hurt one.

Well, it was a bit of a farm cat as the story goes.
Actually, it was adopted from a wild cat that had its litter in the barn and ran off. The family caring for it saved 4 of them.

Bob Barker wants you to spay and neuter your pets.

It's about conservation and management not killing for killing's sake. It is for the greater good of the species like spaying and neutering.

    Also, keeps your aim tight.

My aunt is very close to the crazy cat lady. She's got 4 right now, but this summer it was up to 9 for a while (pregnant stray cats FTL).

Don't get me wrong, though. I do like cats. Just not 9 of them peeing on my couch.

Shave it, Doctor Dave. Either a) you won't be allergic to it anymore or b) it'll be too humiliated to come around anymore.

I would get a cat, but my Akita might think it is a toy/foods. I don't want to be responcable for the death of a cat, plus the mess it would make on the carpet.... ohhh also the wife is prego, cleaning litter box is a no-go if shes prego.....

litter box kitty poo is more bad for you!!!

doggy poo isn't a breathing hazard like kitty litter.
Kitties can smother babies! (Akitas can eat babies)

I love cats, I owned three at one time, I had a siamese that would fetch.... I called him "Clayby"

some ppl are allergic to the cat saliva...

thats what cat drugs are for, super easy, I know.

also, if you can get a kitten, teach it to use the toilet.

or get an automatic litter picker-upper box. lol
