    Hello,

I just bought a Blouch 18G for my 2004 WRX, and after getting the turbo on, I can't get the TMIC to fit properly. It hits the coolant line coming off the turbo, and so is a good 2 inches away from the passanger side bracket.

Is this commen? Do I have to get a smaller TMIC? If so, whixh ones will fit with the 18G without any modifcations?

    Thanks!

Are you sure you have the correct APS TMIC for your year? There are like 3 versions and are year specific. I have a 20g with an APS TMIC and it fits great. I would look into that. Was the IC on the car prior to putting the turbo on?

Wait. Can you post a picture? Is the coolant line itself routed properly? I know it's a hard line of course, but sometimes they are angled to a degree they interfere with oem type routing.

could be the aps though. Is the trottle body lining up prperly with the IC?

I remember reading somewhere about Aftermarket TMIC that you have to adjust or do something with one of the IC brackets b/c its larger then the oem but like they said there's different ICs.

I"d say ask where you get it from and does it require any mod.

I'll try and post some pictures when I get home from work and I'll double check with MAP that I got the right year TMIC.

The coolant line is routed just like the stock turbo, so i think it's routed correctly.

Thanks for the input so far guys!

No such thing as too big of a turbo!
