Im going to be changing the front diff oil with the scottys mix and was wondering if I should replace the tranny oil and filter also? if so what should I use? regular atf oil? its for a 2004 wrx auto.

Tranny uses regular ATF. Dexron III I think.

I don't think you need to put uncle scotty's blend in the diff. That is mostly meant for smoother shifting on the 5spds. You could just use straight Hypoy C in the diffs.

I was running amsoil in my 4eat. 75w90 in the front diff and atf in the slushy part. granted this was the tranny that lost it up in orr. I am still running amsoil 75w90 in the diffs but am now running that lubetech stuff that Nathan had at his shop. no problems since I got it flushed with the lubetech, infact seems to be running top notch now.
