This is a question you'd be better asking over on the MAC forum. I think Stock rules are fairly strict about that kind of thing, and with a sudden rash of "I've got an illegal mod for the class I want to run in but can I do it anyway" questions, we're starting to have to enforce the rules a bit more stringently.

I suspect SI or STU are your best choices.

    Stuart.

Air Intake and cat back exhaust mods are allowed in stock I believe. MAPs are not.

In stock one can only change the air filter it's self, nothing else. (intake related)

The options are: Run SI, Run the appropriate class (stx or stu?), or put the snorkus back in

That said, if the car won't be in contention for a top spot probably nobody would care. Technically it's still cheating and one could be protested. Again, in reality probably no one will care.

The '06 has the 2.5L engine, which would make it STU. Or, you could go and play with Zak in ESP. You'll probably get your bottom handed to you on a nice big silver platter, but at least you'll have been competing in a legal class :) Or maybe run Street Tire Index, e.g. tESP, if you don't have R comp tyres.
