For anyone who's interested, Avenue Q tickets at the State just went on sale a few minutes ago. The show is like sesame street for adults. pretty non-pc. It won the tony award for Best Musical 2004. This is the show that the song "The Internet Is For Porn" that's been floating around the net came from. Other classics include: -Everyone's A Little Bit Racist -Schadenfreude -You can be as loud as the hell you want (when you're makin love) It's an amazing show, well worth the money. *warning: does contain full puppet nudity* You can get tickets HERE
I am so excited for this show, I have been hoping that it would come around. There are a few shows I would like to go see this winter but they are so damned expensive. The lion King, sweeny todd, and of course avenue Q.
me and the gf are going to the lion king the weeked of thanksgiving, so I spent all my money on that =( this sounds like a good show too! Sweeny Todd...what a mischevious lil fellow
This play is hilarious and I highly recommend it for people who like some adult muppet humor. Can't wait to see this once I get home
