axle back differences

    i was wondering if a wrx muffler would fit on my obs mid-pipe

    what would be the differences if any, i presume diameter would be different but thats ok

    Internally i believe the obs muffler is baffled like the rs muffler. Check out my diy gutted axleback thread. I think i compared the sti baffles to the wrx one. The wrx one was similar to my rs one... inlet and outlet pipe diameters were different but the biggest difference from what i could tell was in the baffles.

    Not sure if the flange angle is the same with your obs but i imagine its like the rs (which was different from the wrx and sti)

    There. Or here. Sometimes both.
    The flange angle will not match up to your midpipe. Otherwise, it will fit fine. Cut the flange, rotate, reweld.
